Peel Design Partnership Ltd was established in April 2007 by Nigel Peel. Nigel has operated as a sole practitioner working from his office on the top floor of his converted barn since then. Nigel is a fully qualified architect with continuous membership of the Architects Registration Board and Royal Institute British Architects since qualifying in January 1987.

During the intervening years Nigel has worked with four different architects’ practices based in the north-west of England and in that time has amassed a wealth of experience working on various residential, leisure and commercial developments, including the following building types:

· Hotel with swimming pool & fitness facilities
· Care & residential homes
· Housing Association schemes
· Single house design
· Offices buildings and business parks
· Warehousing &industrial units

· Domestic & commercial refurbishments.

This wide ranging experience helped quickly establish Peel Design Partnership Ltd as a serious player in the field of building design and procurement.

Since becoming established Peel Design Partnership Ltd has developed a special interest in the conversion, extension and renovation of older buildings and is particularly interested in bringing existing housing and commercial properties up to the demands of 21st century living and working.
Peel Design Partnership Ltd can provide advice on building fabric improvement, “Fabric First” approach, followed by the introduction of new technologies to help conserve our energy resources and save on energy costs.

Peel Design Partnership Ltd has been a member of “The Green Register” since May 2010 and through this association has acquired a more in depth knowledge of sustainable construction and building refurbishment, and applies this to all their projects, giving clients the confidence that their buildings will meet their practical needs today and respect the environmental demands of the future.
